once and a while the hvac control center on my 2005 larait has the display screen(fancy one) going blank once and a while, other times it will work just fine, i cant control the blower speed, nothing, just totaly dead.

Anyone run into this issue before? im assuming its the unit itself not wiring

My 05 has been doing the same exact thing for over 2 years now!
Anbody have any suggestions ?

really sucked because I was in Miami for alot of that time n even in winter you need A/C down there.

I've got the full electronic temp control w/steering wheel controls

Is it by chance blowing the fuse?

Mine did this about every two months at random, I've searched every wire, could not find a short. Finally I altered my fuse box and cover to accept a mini buss 15A breaker I found at autozone, that was one of the best mods I've done, problem solved

When that happens, turn the headlights on for a few seconds, then back off. It'll come right on.
