2000 F350 4x4 Super Duty 7.3 liter V8.
I have only owned this truck for the last 15,000 miles (200,000 on it). The front right hub was very hard to turn and engage into the locked position so I decided to replace both of them with Warn hubs. When I got the Warn hubs I can not get the right one to go on. The inner and outer splines will not line up with the hub splines. (I tried for over 2 hrs). I can't get the old one to go back on either. If you take the hub apart you can slide it over the inner and outer spline with no problems, just not together. Their was a small chip on the old hub and I'm assuming the previous owner may of hit something and "bent" the inner spline? It looks centered to me. Is their an efficient way to find out what the problem is or do I just have to take the spline rod out and examine everything? I am pretty new to 4WD and Diesels so I apologize if some of the part names are incorrect. Thanks again for all the help.
