We own a lawn care and landscaping business in New Braunfels, Texas and have been the proud owners of a 2007 F350 XLT Super Duty 6.0 Crew Cab until August 12, 2014 when we learned that our truck, trailer and our equipment had been stolen. It was a devastating day to say the least. Thank God for good insurance! We were able to replace all of our equipment with brand new better equipment and a brand new larger landscape trailer. That left the truck...we knew we wanted to upgrade to at least a 2008, with the chip key, new body style and the 6.4 engine, but we had to wait to see what the insurance company was going to give us for our truck. We started searching online and found a truck we loved. The call came and the settlement was enough to get the "new to us" truck! So now we have a black 2008 F350 XLT Super Duty 6.4 Crew Cab and we LOVE it! It rides like a dream and is pretty dang cool looking too. It has 167k miles on it and we put new tires on it the day we brought it home. After what started out as a heartbreaking event, we are now enjoying making the "new to us" truck our own. We have been dealing with the o-ring replacement for the fuel/water separator but other than that things are good to date. The Saturday after we got home with the "new to us" truck we received a call that our old truck had been located (no trailer or equipment though). We drove to where it was and sure enough it was ours. We had already settled with the insurance and signed the title over, so we let the old truck go and decided to start anew. We have only been married for a year and a half, so this is "our" truck. We will always love our 2007 but now onto a new adventure! We had done the EGR delete on the 2007 two years ago which worked great and other than routine maintenance, no major problems from the former contractor's fleet truck. We have referenced this forum many times when we were looking for hints about maintenance items about the two F350s we have owned and look forward to being part of the group! :thumb:

Welcome to the site neighbor. The 6.4 is a great work truck that is just wanting to be unleashed with just a few mode that will make it a power monster! Congrats!
