How to contact Truck Source Diesel?

8330 Views 43 Replies 20 Participants Last post by  Fox Hunt
So I just tried to send an email to the address listed on their website, [email protected]. My email got bounced back to me a minute later saying that the email address doesn't exist.
I know they have a phone number listed, but they're in Texas and I'm in Edmonton, Canada. So the long distance on my cell will be awful no matter whether I'm making or receiving the call.
Anyone have their current email address? Or know of an alternate way to contact them?

Does anyone have Chris's direct email? I'm looking for some info on all the tunes he offers.

Side note, TSD does some awesome work and has the best tunes out there. They did all the motor work on my truck. That being said, their customer service still needs some work. I have a friend that went there within the last 2 weeks and he said it seems like they still haven't worked out their growing pains they were having 18 months ago.

I don't have a current email for anyone there but here's a bump for you.
call Chris B at the shop, much faster that way. There just arent enough hours in the day for them to get all the e-mails that bombard them.

I understand that calling would be the quickest. I've called some shops in the US before, from here in Canada. Last time, the call cost me $26. That's why I'm looking for an email address. The email address on their site doesn't exist, as I said in post #1.
Good luck getting in touch with them dude. When I got my SPD tune from them it took a solid week tryin to get the tune ordered and another week before i received it. I have sent two people there way and both people have got sick of trying to get in touch with Chris and went with other peoples tunes. It really sucks that they can't get their customer service up to par because they do have some great tunes.

That's the only reason I don't have tunes from him. I can't get ahold of him!

Lol that doesn't sound promising. I already have the Looney tune from Vivian at Quick Tricks, but I've heard the SPD is way better in terms of power and shifts...which is obvs why I want to try it out.
Awesome, I'll give that email a try and see what happens!
Please let us know if you get it any quicker because I want to buy they're SPD this week or next.

No problem

Alright, just sent an email to that address. We'll see if they get back to me within 24h.
I always get a promt response from chris.. But i am a long time customer also... I think he is just that busy and is probally the only one responding to emails/calls
Chris is part owner of the business, and does all the tuning for them. 24 hours in a day for him isnt enough to get to everyone in such a timely manner. They also just completely moved house into a new shop just over a month ago, and Theyre still not 100% all set up, and working non stop. Chris is a great guy and treats his customers very well if you dont pester him. its well worth any wait even if its a week or two to get a tune from him, he is simply great at what he does.

FYI his e-mail inbox frequently fills up, and quick. If you're out of the country I highly suggest buying a phone card and make the phone call
what pizza pig said! our company is actually part of the new shop remodling and they have been running into a few email and phone problems. its worth the wait tho! with the time he spends on each tune for each customer it takes a while for him to get through all of them. on top of that dealing with customers and running a shop all in one day plus running earrins and what not it just gets hard to keep up no matter how many employees they keep hiring
I orderd tunes from truck source over a week ago and i have not got anything... After 3 days noT recieving my tunes i called there and ask when i might see them i was not rude in asking i know people are busy just wanted a rough idea and what i go back was "Ill get to it when i get to it" Maybe you will get better service then i did but i will not being using them for tunes i will stick to IDP for my tunning.
I am very surprised at how many people are so laid back with TSD's customer service practices...no doubt they make good stuff but people seem to be turning a blind eye to the service side. Seems like most people on the forums are very quick to complain on here if a vendor or shop gives less than perfect service/results but not in this case.

That being said, their stuff is very nice. Let us know what ends up happening.
