ok. so i need new tires pronto. But here is my catch: Im not made of money, my 97 350 is sitting on a stock suspension, so i need to buy some sort of lift kit in order to buy bigger tires. BUT i cant afford any sick *** suspension mods because i am buying tires AND wheels all at the same time. SO, my question is, WHAT IS THE BEST/CHEAPEST WAY TO TEMPORARILY LIFT MY TRUCK TO CLEAR (AT LEAST) 35" TIRES?

Simple leveling kit will clear them, may have to shim bumper just a bit

so say a skyjacker 2" front leaf? will i need to add any blocks to the rear at all?

Add a leaf or just run the suspension as it. Some guys on here run up to 38s with no lift.

I had 35's on my truck before I did the RSK, and all I had to do was shim the bumper.

hmm, ok you guys got me thinkin now.. thanks for the input. btw, how much "shimming" did you have to do?

Before the RSK, I had a 2.5" shim in there. Now that I have the
RSK, it's only 1".
I could also just trim the lower edge on the end of the bumper and do without the shim altogether, but I'm used to how it looks.
