I am looking at a truck (04 ccsb) that has a powermax turbo, 200gph airdog pump, 190/80 sticks, arp studs, stock gaskets and all other bulletproofing done.

The owner showed me a dyno sheet and it put down 480rwhp and 880 ftlbs and I was wondering what the limits of the stock internals are?

So at what number should I have to start worrying about beefing up the internals? The truck is a DD never taken to the track and will tow quads often in the summer but its only 4 so its light and it will tow a car about once a year at the most.

There are a few guys on here that daily drive a 600 to 750 hp 6.0 on a stock bottom end. The bottom end on a 6.0 is very stout.

For what it's worth, with your set up, if you were to change to a stage 3 style turbo, you could effectively jump 100 hp. 190s have been proven to dyno 580 hp to 620 on a stage 3

You won't have to worry about them at that HP. I'm sure there are folks here that are running way over 500/600 on stock internals.

Thats good to hear about them holding up,

So my fuel system should be good to go I just need a stage 3 turbo if I want some more hp?

It has bigger fuel lines as well but Im not sure of the size, I am just waiting to finish up the title work then I will post up some pictures.

You are correct on the charger for more power. If you want to shoot me a PM I can get you quoted on a couple variations that would work great for you

Even with just a powermax that thing should break 500 hp

Its 190/80 injectors so I figured it was pretty close to being correct since its not 100 nozzles.

Does it seem low to you guys? I plan to get a FICM tune when I purchase the truck.

And those numbers were live tuning it was just for a dyno day, so who knows how accurate they really are

I bet it's over 500 if it is as described

^^ It all really depends on the trucks condition. If it's not a healthy running 6.0L anything is possible.
You are correct if it's not healthy there is no telling

I would hook a monitor up to it quick to check everything out. If you haven't done that you need to or you could have a repair coming soon just a fyi.

I would like to think my truck is goin to be around the 800-850hp range on nitrous, on stock internals. There have been a few truck dyno over a 1000hp on stock internals. And i was between the 575 -700 hp range last year and held up threw a lot of abuse, jus blew the HG here recently, that's it.

You'll be fine, I'd get like and EDGE CTS, and take the truck on an hour or so test drive, the CTS will show u any codes or troubles the truck u may have

U guys are scaring me a little. Since I technically already bought the truck. So u guys think somethings wrong since its less then 500 to the wheels?

I checked eot n etc n oil n trans levels n all looked good. The owner documents the truck very well n has recipts for everything.

It just had a new ficm n new batteries put in so what r u guys thinking is wrong?

I wouldn't get to wrapped up with dyno numbers personally. If you want to test it go to the track and see what she can do. I just imagine those dyno numbers are low it is prettycomm on for dynos to be off.
