I just put 5 in blocks in the rear with stock shocks and was just wondering if it is worth getting new shocks? Can the stock shocks handle the 3 in difference? I started with the factory f250 blocks, went to 4 in blocks, and now 5 in blocks
Unless they are close to full extension (when installed) I guess I would run them for a while and see what happens, and if they start leaking in a week or just if they just don't act like they should then go get new shocks. It shouldn't cost you anything to wait and see, and it's no big deal if you ruin the old ones, it's not like used shocks are worth much anyways. Have you looked at shock extensions?
