hellow to all, hopefully i might get this figured out, i have a 01 F250 SD 4X4 with the 7.3. i have a 5.5 fabtech lift with 35"S. i did the zoodad mod and put a airaid stage 2 box with a cheep 35$ filter from advanced auto parts (hey fuel expensive) the problem im having is my egts are really high and it seams they are geting higher, i have a t.s performance 6 way chip and piller gauges and i have noticed a increase in egt"s in the last month or so, even with it on stock and doing about 40 or so its geting up to 900 just cruzing, if i go up hills (i live in the texas hill country) it jumps to like 1300 and im not even geting on it. I have always blown black smoke but now it like a structure fire in the back of my truck, also the truck seems like it idels a little ruff (i know its a diesel) but it feels like its missing every now and then. Sorry this is kinda all over the place but im really worried about this truck any help would be appreciated
JUstin
P.S my fuel consumption seems to have gone way down as well. thanks:dunno:

What boost pressures are you seeing?

It's not hard, do you have an aftermarket exhaust?

also i was just looking at where my boost gauge is tapped and i notice alot of oil residue around the area, when i touched it to check if it was tight it moved, so im going to take it off and try to re mount it, do know if this could be a problem
