I finally got the IPR coolant filter with the manifold installed and went for a test drive and ect topped out at 175 and the eot got as high as 209. This was not on level ground but a route I travel a lot. Deltas usually reach 10-12 max before the filter install. The truck is bone stock. I use a scangauge II. Top speed reached was 60 mph. Outside air temp was 72. Any ideas will be appreciated.

air in the cooling system will affect deltas. I would give it a few days to settle down.

Also you are not reaching opperating temp at 175°

Mine works great, deltas stay less than 5*, but FYI my ipr filter caught so much crap it clogged up and had to be cleaned after about 150 miles. Delta jumped up to 28 at that time, cleaned the filter, and they went right back down.

Problem solved. The hoses were crossed. Deltas are now normal.
