just got a '04 F250 SD about a month ago (thank god i got the warantee). had it in to the dealer as it chugged when driving down the road about 60mph and went to accelerate. they replaced the egr. all seemed well until this last weekend....

a few times over the weekend, we going from a dead stop, i would press the accelerator and the truck would move, but oh so slowly, like barely moving....then i put my foot in it...nothing for about 5-10 seconds....then HOLD ON...off we go!!

i'm taking it back to the dealer, but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts of what could be the cause.

did it smoke when it wasn't going too well from a start?

the reason I ask is if the egr was plugged so badly that they replaced it, it's possible the vanes are sticking from the same soot. Maybe the previous owner let it idle alot? :dunno:
