i have a 1992 f350 w/ the 7.3 nonturbo diesel, auto. 2wd and i cant get it to start. it ran great then i turned it off and it wont start. i have fuel and the glow plugs are new and are working. turns over slow but wont start
batteries had a good charge . i didnt post enough info for that im sorry. now back to what the issue was. apparentlly the wire running from the starter to the solenoid thats mounted on the starter itself was loose and was arcing will it was trying to turn over which was robbing important amperage from the system in turn not spinning the engine over fast enough and frying the fender mounted solenoid and starter as well as rapidlly draining the batteries. thanks to all that tried to help me figure out what the issue was.:icon_ford::tard:
