my trusty reliable 2007 F350 6.0 let me down. It is water locked. I was hoping the EGR cooler had failed. That would have been an easy repair. But no, it holds pressure. So now I have to pull the heads and replace the head gaskets and upgrade to ARP studs.

The truck was creating a fog bank all the way home from work. Two days later, went to start it and take it to the local diesel shop. The whole truck rocked to one side (coolant does not compress in an cylinder like air/fuel does). I hope I did not damage a connecting rod.
