Has anyone put a ball valve in the hose going to the heater core, in order to make the a/c colder? I know a few places sell a kit, but don't think I need one that shuts off automatically.

No opinions? Is it worth doing? If you have it done, did it help with the a/c?

Not sure on the PSD's, but used to drive an international semi tractor and i had a shut off valve for the heat. It helped alot with colder a/c, but if you had a chilly morning you had to get out and open the valve for some heat and then close it later in the day for a/c.

All my tractors on the farm had them, just wasn't sure if there were any negative affects on the PSD's. Or, if you should use a bypass type setup or just a block off on the line.
