So I started noticeing on my truck that after it is hot and I am using the heater, The coolant level will drop about 1/4" below the normal mark on the degas bottle (I keep the level at the molded "MIN" line). When the heater is not in use and I check the level when the truck is hot, it is about 1/4" higher than the normal line. Is this normal?

Mine floats all over depending on ext temps engine temps etc (scared me at first)

but the heater always has coolant flowing except when your on max ac and even then it only blocks the flow from one side it doesn't empty

Okay, I just recently noticed it now that the temperatures have been cool now. I dont have any smoke at all and my deltas are within acceptable range. No residue under hood or around radiator cap (cap is brand new). Guess Ill just keep an eye on it.
