So I have heated seats, the problem is that when some one uses them (mainly my gf) that she forgets to turn it off every time. I was thinking is there some way to rig it that when the truck shuts off they go off and don't come on again until you push the button again? My grandpas GMC its like that and its a nice feature.

Everyone who rides in my truck asks if I have heated seats, pass side is ALWAYS on, I don't get it. My seat isn't working so I don't notice.

You would have to find a different kind of switch to make it work that way, I hate the way Ford's setup is.

Another option is to wire some leds to the switch and mount them on the dash so that you will know whether they are on or off.

I always pull out my fuse for the summer months because I constantly bump my switch getting in and out of the truck. :doh:

There is a thread where a guy installed separate switches and put LED indicator lights in the center console by the cup holders.
