wondering if theres any issue on wiring just the rings and little dot led lights of my headlights to an aux switch??? is there problems or reasons i shouldnt??

no reason not to. I had thought of this as well, but I run my parking lights and fogs almost all the time when needed, so I figured if I had my fogs and PL on why not have the halos...but I know your point to just run the halos...I would just suggest an inline fuse to your wiring for the switch, other than that good luck.
