I have an F250 superduty 4x4 supercab, I was told that the F250 and F350 had the same axle. I have installed Ride Rite airbags on my 2003 F250 does that effectivly change the GVWR?
As you can see from the avitar I carry a fairly big load. I am considering a bigger trailer. Any info will be appreciated

Thanks
Mike

There is no legal way to change the GVWR. If you tow outside the limits of the sticker you are rolling the insurance dice in the game of life. While your truck may be able to tow the heavier load you are exceeding the recommended limits.

Thanks for the reply, as it is in the avitar I am probably 800lb over GVWR
I may have to step up and get an F350 or F450

800 pounds over isn't a big deal with the bags. Your question about the GVWR is what I based my reply on.

You could find some DRW rear springs and maybe add an SRW F350 rear block. None of this will "raise" the GVWR but can help the squatting look when hauling heavy loads.
