I have an XL grill and want to go with the chrome look. I have seen the OEM chrome grills listed for $1200 on eBay, so that is too expensive for me.
I have seen some overlays that go on top of the XL grill. Has anyone ever used these? Here is one where the outer ring is made up of 4 parts.

I have one that's black because I have a chrome grille and wanted the opposite. It fits fine and haven't had any issues for the past year. It just sticks on. On mine, you can see the chrome shine through the black piece with the mesh holes. You're better off buying the OEM chrome grille. I am getting mine paint-matched soon and wish I would have just done that earlier.
