I know what glow plugs do, but was wondering what happens if one does not work? Mine are fine(i think), was just wondering what a bad one would do? How would it act?

It will be hard to start, usually one isn't that noticeable unless you are in the frigid north. In most climates it takes 2 or 3 out to affect starting. When you need to replace one you might as well replace all of them and only use Ford ( Beru) glowplugs.
