I've got an 06 and just got my sct tuner which just the preloaded tunes on the sf3 r a hell of a lot better than the superchip but I'm ready for custom tunes now so my question is what does everyone like better srl vs extreme race or extreme street I'm probably going to get both and see which is faster and which one I will use as a daily driver. Any input guys?

I would reach out to Vivian at quick tricks and Chris at TSD as well....The looney and SPD tunes are top shelf as well.

I have never had a tune before and I just ordered a looney today to put on the truck and it drives nice and makes a sh!t ton of power. I am asking her to tweak two minor things and I will be happy with this tune. I am also going to order an SPD tune from TSD as it seems to be the cats meow right now on this forum for all around power and drivability. I cant say enough about vivian and her customer service, I had my tune in an hour. I have heard chris is the same way , do bare in mind they are moving shops and should be back up and going soon if they are not already.

I know Matts SRL and SRL+ are topshelf too and I will most likely order an SRL+ at some point to try out .... I have heard his tunes are very linear and the drivability is really good.

Eric is one of the original tuners and his tunes, well....speak for themselves.

It is really more about what the truck likes not so much what you like.

Well Todd pretty much summed it up. Your Sct will hold three custom tunes. You can try Eric's, Matt's, and Tsd or Vivian's tunes. Or whatever combination you want.

The panty dropper from TSD is apparently the best running tune around. Vivians and Matt's seem to get the best mileage.

From the tunes I have tried, Matt's SRL is the best DD for me. Although, I just ordered my tune from TSD with early lock up, so time will tell which one I like best.

I had IDP Tunes first a week later I went with Matt's and never looked back I am studded now but still run the stock bolt safe SRL

yes u can swap any combo of three tunes into the SCT from your computer ,, also save them and your stock file on a flash drive somewhere safe

Im running stock heads . I've heard people run Tsd Spd with stock heads . Guess
Lucky I suppose they don't blow.

Idk which tune I wanna go with for my stock heads .

You can REPLACE all three of the custom tunes on you SCT with others that have been emailed to you, however you cannot pull them from the SCT and save them to your computer. You have to keep the original copies that were emailed to you and save the files or the emails. If you do that then yes you can save and switch as much as you want.

I just played around with the tuner a bit I fixed my speedo for the larger tires, raised the rev limiter, turned off the egr and locked the tc in the first 3 gears and all I can say is wow even the preloaded tunes on the sct r pretty damn quick it's a hell of a lot faster than my superchip I can definitely say that.

The canned tunes arent bad. I will run the Street tune from time to time for a daily driver.

That being said the custom tunes are leaps and bounds over the canned SCT tunes.

your tuner won't adjust your speedo only the dealer can do that, your tuner will only adjust the revolutions per mile for the shift points of the transmission not the speedo.

I don't know what all you got done to your truck but you might want to hold off on all the custom tunes and start saving your money for the apr headstuds and what not cause with excessive tuning (trust me its not hard to do once you get your first custom tune) you will blow your hg's with stock bolts. I'm speaking from experience.
