I run the same gears(3.55) and what not with my 37’s. Got used to how to apply the power and see no need at all to change. Took a little getting used to though, I will say that.

To get you back to a stock ratio, you'd need 4.09190..... so somewhere in that area would get you back to a stock feeling truck but with 37" tires.

Im curious as to what 37's and 4.30's would be like....Considering 4.30 is an OEM gear and all.

Thoughts?

Use the formula
RPM= MPH x axle gear ratio x transmission gear ratio x 336 divided by tire diameter in inches

This website does it for you Gear Ratio Calculator

6R140 gear ratios 1st-3.97 2nd-2.32 3rd-1.52 4th-1.15 5th-.86 6th-.67

I got my tunes modified and it helped. Shift point mph raised up, but our transmission learns so fast it did not last long. I want to swap gears also but that top end rpm at 100 mph is still decent with 3.55 gears

I have 37’s on a 7” lift and decided to go with 4.30(Yukon Gears). Love it! Really glad I didn’t go with anything less.
