I pulled a digital oil pressure gauge out of an old chevy I bought a couple months ago, but would it cause any issues to run it as a fuel pressure gauge temporarily til I get saved up for my ISSpros?

Only thing I see being a problem is it saying oil instead of fuel.. but they are called oil burners right? Lol :tard:

I dont see a problem with it. The gauge is identical with a different faceplate.

The sending unit could give you some problems because it wasnt designed for use in fuel but being diesel, i feel it wouldnt hurt anything.

Im probably just going to pick up a single gauge pod and run it. The gauge, wire and sender didn't cost me anything, so if they get screwed up, im not out any money..

You should be fine.

The only part that would get screwed up would be the sensor anyhow. The gauge will be fine.

Good point.. I'll still use a mechanical gauge under the hood for comparison, but would be nice to monitor my fuel pressure while driving and troubleshooting.
