Where is everyone installing the sensors for eot and ect on a 6.0 diesel?:icon_ford:

I just read it off the factory sensors since I have a monitor that just displays what the ECM is reading.

No need to install new sensors...they are allready there.

Why is it that everyone says to use sct or scan guage vs actual guages? Im coming from a chevy and my dash guages actually are guages is there a way to make the fords the same?

Not really. The need on these trucks for a more, call it versatile gauge set is because there are so many more parameters that need to be monitored. With my gauge setup I am able to monitor 9 parameters at once all simultaneously viewable. I monitor, EGT, ECT, EOT, boost, fuel pressure(waiting for sensor setup), FICM voltage, trans temp, VGT % and cooling fan speed. I can do this for a bit more than a 4 pod gauge setup with quality gauges. So in any case, even if I had analog gauges I would still need to buy more. Do I necessarily need to monitor all of these params. No but I have the flexability to do so. The dash factory gauges are little more than idiot lights and more parameters need to measured.
