I just got my new Auto Meter gauges in and i have some quick questions about the install. I orederd an AIH delete plug thats drilled for the boost gauge. Im just not sure of the bet place to tap in for the pyro and trans temp. Any heip would be great.

Is the pyro on the drive or passenger

Drivers is easiest to drill. Right by the oil filter at the elbow of the manifold.

Okay last question. Where do I find this letter R bit

drivers side manifold little flat spot right by were it connects to the up-pipe
i think when i drilled the hole for the pyro the drill bit was a 5/16.
then you tap it and its good to go.
make sure you put anti-sieze on the threads of the probe before you screw it in.
there is a service port on the drivers side of the trans were the temp sensor goes.
the bolt should unscrew and in goes the temp sensor for the trans gauge

Okay thank for all your help. The gauges are in and working. Now for a stock truck what should the normal range be so I know if there is any bad connections.

stock tuning i imagine egts at full throttle should be always less than 1000.
daily driving the egts will prob stay around 600-800
boost should be like 17 psi with stock tuning.
trans temp should be usually 60 degrees higher than ambient temp. after youve driven around for a while.
