I have an 01 superduty p/u with a 7.3. The #19 fuse in the underhood fuse box keeps blowing. The owners manual says this fuse is for the fuel pump motor and PCM. I changed the fuel pump thinking this was the problem but the fuse still keeps blowing from time to time. Is the fuel heater element on this same circuit? The truck runs fine until the fuse blows. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave.:icon_ford:

I would think your wires for this aren't connected properly.... Just logical thinking here.

Someone should be on soon that can give you proper help.

Dave IIRC the heater is on that same fuse, it is on my 97 and i know some things are different from mine to yours. Disconnect the wire to the heater sensor and you shouldn't blow anymore fuses.

Also check the wiring going over the left shock tower where the harness goes over it. The wiring harness can chafe and short the pink wire with a black tracer to ground which is the power wire to the fuel pump. Examine it very closely.
