Not sure if its shot injectors or something with the fuel or fuel lines, but it starts fine and idles normally, but when i start driving i gotta press harder on the gas to get it moving. Its going into 2nd but then i really have to hit the gas to get it going and it takes longer to wind down when im braking. Its an 02 7.3l reg cab

Since the throtte control is electronic, you may need to investigate the pedal assembly. The signal is controlled by a potentiometer so you may have issues with this. You can check it with Autoenginuity or a volt meter on the right pins. You should have a consistent voltage change as the pedal is cycled.

The TPS can go out.
There might be trash in the fuel tank.
But if the RPMs take a long time to lower then that sounds like engine control, so TPS.
