The fuel gauge in our E450 van, 55 gallon tank, reads full for nearly 300 miles, which is almost exactly 1/2 tank when you fill up-can this be corrected?-still under warranty.

try some chevron with techron additive. I believe this is something that ford actually recommends. If you're under 3yr/36k they can replace the sending unit for free, if over that it'll cost ya'.
