I changed out my fuel filters today. I took the drain plug out first and noticed that the bolt looks like Chebacca used it as a chew toy for a while on the end. What could have caused this? I had to tighten it up quite a bit to keep it from leaking out of there anymore, I suspect it is because of the bolt. Anyone ever see anything like that? Sorry I couldn't get a picture of it in time.

You can take an allen wrench and epoxy it to the drain plug, let it set up then unscrew it and replace it with the upgraded plug!

I've actually broken an allen wrench on a drain plug before. At that point it's best to just change the side cover
