hey guys quick question I checked out my front end today jacked up the front axle and did the 12:00 and 6:00 push and pull test I'm getting slop behind (after) the ujoints where the shaft gos in the axle can you tell me whats causing this its only happing on the driver side.

Going by my understanding of what is moving, most likely it is ball joints or wheel bearing unit. You will have to inspect closer as the only thing that holds the actual axles shaft "steady" is the inner splines at the differential along with the needle bearing on the inside of the wheel bearing unit and the needle bearing in the locking hubs(at the outer splines). If either of these two parts are moving or loose it could give you the symptom you are describing.
