I am seeking your advice on what to purchase along with some price quotes.

I have a 2006 PSD CC FX4 Lariat 4x4 with ProComp 18" rims and 35x12.50/18 tires.

I am in need of some new "Meats" and although I like the current tires for highway driving, Extreme AT's, they sure do SUCK in any muddy conditions as they just pack up right away!

I would like to stay with the height of the 35's, but wouldn't mind getting a narrower tire, as I live in northern WI and we average 250 inches of snow a winter, and the 35x12.50 tire likes to hydro plane in heavy rain(and we've had plenty this year) so I fear they will be "pushy" in slushy snow conditions.

I also am a logger, and regularly travel on "woods" roads which are muddy, rocky etc....

I am looking for a tire with great wear life also, as I travel alot of hwy miles a year too working!

I'd be willing to drop down to a 17" wheel/tire combo also if the price is right.

Thanks

BFG KM2's. Best tire I've ever ran. Quiet as heck on the road and impossible to get stuck...unless you're intentionally trying to . I honestly can't think of a better tire to recommend.

Fairly cheep too. I got my 37x12.5x18's for $305 a tire which i thought was dang good. I've heard of two guys getting over 100k miles on theirs.

The KM2s are an awesome tire and would be a great option.

Another great model to take a close look at if you want to go narrower is the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T in size 295/70-18. Per Nitto, this model/size is 34.54" tall and 11.73" wide with an approved rim width range of 7.5" to 10".
