I just got a set of Firestone Ride Rite air bags for the rear of my 2006 F350 4x4 SRW. According to the instructions I need to remove the rear wheels in order to install them. Has anyone else on here installed these before and can give me a few pointers? It seems pretty basic but I figured that I would try and learn from those that have installed them before. Do I need to remove the rear tires? Is there anything else I should know?

it is a fairly installation, you need to remove your tires to gain access to the location of the mounting brackets. Just be sure if you have to drill any holes to make sure you have cleared any lines out of the way on the other side of the frame rail. Good luck!

Removing the wheels sure made installing mine much easier. I also replaced some of the cheap grade hardware with some better quality stuff and used some anti-seize due to all this hardware being exposed to the elements all the time.
