I am curious my self with stacks what do you do about water. You dont want it to sit there eventualy rusting a hole from constant heat cool water cycles.:thumb:
It ain't easy... :lol:i was shooting for the perfection level you have :dunno:
Those look slick Clay :thumb:Now my concern is what to do about rain getting in these stacks?
I considered a small hole - 1/16" - in the pipe under the truck and the lowest point to drain water when we get that occasional 5" turd floater rain. Any thoughs? Maybe that much water would drain by itself at the lowest joint in the pipe under the truck?
I'm not worried about it filling up but just don't want a huge puddle in the pipe when i start it up.
It ain't easy...
Seriously though they look great!
Maybe a couple of horses can be found with the decreased exhaust travel, but besides the "cool factor" they really help in lowering EGT's faster :nod:nice stacks. do these increase performance?
Nah... 30's aren't bad, I've ridden my bike down in the 20's and he's got the coal to warm him up.Dam, you guys are never happy...all this preasure to get them installed to please you all and now you want more?!
Theres one smoke pic on page 1
When it warms up a bit, i'll have my buddy ride in the bed with my video camera and film some coal rolling and fire breathin footage.Maybe as i drive into a tunnel! :thumb:
I don't think he;ll have much fun doing that today though, its pretty mild at a balmy 30 degrees but in the bed of the truck doing 60 mph it may be a tad niply.
There comes a time in every man's life were they have to make sacrifices for the better-ment of others :hehe:I don't think he;ll have much fun doing that today though, its pretty mild at a balmy 30 degrees but in the bed of the truck doing 60 mph it may be a tad niply.
That has to be one of the grossest things I have ever heard :hehe:no senior citizen sittin on a portapotty with a plastic bag attached sound.
Ditto and its 20 minutes till my lunch :barf:That has to be one of the grossest things I have ever heard :hehe:

You'll have to slow the truck down for that level...
