I have a 02 F450 2wd crewcab w/200" wheelbase, i need to know the u-joint to u-joint measurement of the last section of driveshaft(section to actual rear-end)? Ford doesn't have info and can only sell complete assembly(comes pre-balanced), I have a unique situation as my F450 is a dinghy behind my motorcoach, had a special driveshaft built many years ago to tow this truck and after a recent trip the shaft decided to leave the building, and until I can get my hands on a correct slip-joint(which also left the building), I can't have a new shaft built. Anybody also know how much slack/distance to leave between end of slip-joint and middle section of shaft? Thanks for info.
