Has anyone tried putting dually rims and tires on the rear of a f250? I know in the older model trucks you could.

I just wandered if dually rims would rub. If i wanted to put a flat bed on it.

They would probably rub the leaves. DRW trucks use a wider Dana 80 axle vs the 10.5 Sterling on the SRW trucks. Also IIRC the DRW lug pattern changed in 05 to 8x200, SRW is 8x170.

Would a 99up dually rear be a direct fit with the same lug pattern as a 06 f250?

As long as it's a 350 DRW it should be the same. Just take a tape measure with you to the junk yard to make sure. Also, cab and chassis trucks have a narrower frame than trucks that came with a bed so the spring perches would be in the wrong place if you mixed them up.

What rear is in the 99 duallys? What rear is in the 06 srw f350?

They are both Dana 80's. 05+ has 8x200 and larger brakes. 99-04 has 8x170. I have also heard a rumor that a DRW 10.5 sterling was used in some gas trucks but I have never seen one.
