Wanted to find out if anyone has tried out the manifolds from Maryland diesel for the 6.4 in stead of going with the new up pipes and 6.0 manifolds which cost a little more just wondering which one to go with 700 horse is the max I'm going for on my truck thank you for any info I can get

I don't know what manifold Maryland diesel sells but I have read a few reviews on the 6.0/6.4 manifolds from Steed Speed, and I know if I had the cash they would be the only ones I would even consider. Steed Speed - Ford 6.0-6.4 powerstroke performance headers

Steed Speed manifolds have not been proven yet. Several trucks have experienced more lag and less peak power with them.
I personally like River City Diesel's manifolds and up-pipes......they are PRICEY though. I'll personally probably end up going with 6.0 manifolds and custom up-pipes from Darkhorse Diesel Performance.

I bought a set that are going on as we speak ,work in progress LOL , really didnt seeing paying the big money for the steed speeds ( not to mention they are not completely proven as jeff said) ,and wanted a bit more than the 6.0 manifolds so this was the happy medium !! MPD has tested these and have had many trucks make more power with them , heres a few pics They are called log style exhaust manifolds

Man there are so many choices! Does anyone have a list of the top 10 or so options and some of the general thoughts on each? Same with the intake manifolds I guess. I'll be doing both eventually...

Exhaust Manifolds
-6.0 exhaust manifolds -better then stock more air flow ,can get these for 50-150$
-MPD maryland diesel performance logstyle , need uppipes ,no dyno proof but have been installed and have been proven on many trucks -around 700$
-Dirty diesel - also log style ,need uppipes , unsure of performance ,2K
-RCD new on the market ,simliar to the stock 6.4 mannys but no restrictions , will run you around 900-1000 ,plus uppipies
-No remorse - these are ss logsytle with a slighly smaller diameter pipe infront unlike the other logstlye where they are all same diameter piping , these are new on the market ,go for around 900$
-Steed Speed - these are not proven yet and are under reasearch to iron out the issues , these will run you 1000$ plus uppipes
-Darkhorse ?
There are more out there ,please chime in and add to the list , you can also wrap some mannys for heat or have them coated , i havent seen testing on any other then SS , but all are much better then stock as far as flow!! Most of the aftermarket manifolds will require use of uppipes , (Darkhorse diesel has for around 600$)

As For Ported Intakes im going with the Dr.Diesel , great for the money !! here is a list of the ported intakes im aware of :thumb:
-PORTED INTAKES
-GoGo intake - 1200$
-Z-maxx intake - 1200$ both the gogo and zmax are ported with almost all restrictions gone ,the zmaxx also has the small indent gone from under fuel bowl
- Dr. Diesel (Lubeowner.com) - great product ,just as above , with options , milled out with almost all restrictions , and can have fuel bowl indent removed for next to nothing ,these will run 550-650$ depending on finish coat and fuel bowl delete
-Soot powered - not recommended heard bad things and they use epoxy not welding to connect !!! for 600$?
-RCD - new on the market , very good product and reasonable but ,not enough restrictions milled out IMO, for around 600$

Thanks for all the info! Looks like there is a lot of 'new' so I'll have to see how things shake out with all the options I guess.
