I see that people delete their exhaust brakes and say because they live in warmer climates it’s not an issue. I have upgraded my GPR to a White Rodgers and no longer have an issue starting in the cold (down to 0* F). If I remove the exhaust brake, will this make the truck harder to start in the cold or take longer to warm up?

Are you talking about the EBP? It is not an exhaust brake. It is used to warm up the engine during a cold start. I live in Arizona so I removed mine. I also visit Family in Flagstaff during the winter at -10 degrees and I do not have a hard time starting my truck. Now since the removal of the EBP when I visit my family up north it does take quite a bit longer for the truck to warm up.
