Just trying to decide if I should follow through with my idea of swapping a 99 7.3 into a 2011 chassis. I had a 2011 f-450 that spun a bearing. It’s just sitting there right now as a chassis with a van body on it. I also have a 1999 f450 dump that the body is starting to go. Would the 7.3 be a good candidate to swap to the other chassis or should I start looking for building a fummins?
both trucks are paid for and complete.

I would get a used 6.7 put it in your 2011 and your off to the races. Changing a 2011 to a 7.3 makes no sense to me.

I'd install a used 2015 engine, or we could rebuild the engine you have.
