I worked on an '03 for a friend awhile back, we added 8oz to new oil for 5k, then did 4oz in new oil for the next interval, is it cool to stop using the stuff entirely? He didn't seem to have any stiction, just 250k miles so we threw a lot of stuff at it at once. No noticeable difference, so to save $35 an oil change he wants to stop using it. No harm to just not using it anymore?

...we put it in the oil by pouring it into the fill tube? This stuff is just zinc, phosphorous, and some other stuff normally found in oil, he's not going to munch an injector just because he's stopping an oil additive right?

On top of the HPOP, remove allen head plug, suction gun out a half a quart of old oil, and pour in your revX, done. Goes directly into the chambers for the injectors.
It is a 7.3, correct??
6.0 are a different procedure.

Did you add it to the top end?

You do realize that all the oil cycles through the HPOP, out to the injectors and back to the pan, right? Just asking.

The 6.0 oil pump moves 18.5 gallons of oil per minute at higher rpm,s it's going to get everywhere including the injectors!

Ya, no need to continue if it's not helping anything and it won't hurt to stop.
