whats the difference between the mechanical boost and the electrical boost gauge?

the difference is running wires instead of a tube. other than that I don't know

From my understanding. Electrical runs off the Map Sensor, the mechanical you run a tube and connect it to either the map sensor line or directly to the intake after the turbo. The mechanical directly after the turbo is the most accurate.

oh alright, I was wondering why electrical was so much more expensive than the mechanical

An electrical gauge is going to have a sending unit that you plumb into the charge air system somewhere and will have wires going to the gauge. Mechanical has a nylon tube that runs up to the gauge.
