What should be the change interval when running ELC? I only put about 5k miles on my truck annually (although they are hard towing miles). So I'm not sure if I should go by mileage or by years. Currently using Zerex ELC which has less than 10k miles on it over the course of 2 years. And I do have a coolant filter.

Thoughts?

Personally I would change it every four years but with it a touch on the stronger side (55%). I'm sure you'll get a lot of different suggestions.

Thanks Term3.

I hate to dispose of good fluids if they still have life in them. 4 years for me would only be about 20k miles....so that isn't bad. The bottle says 3 years, 7,000 hours or 300,000 miles. 20k of 300k is only 6.6% of the miles stated by Zerex...so maybe 4 years (or 8.3% mileage wise) won't be beyond it's life. I can do some test strips in year 3 to see how it is holding up.
