I just purchased my first diesel a 04 6.0 F-250. I got the truck in florida and drove it back to NC and the egr cooler failed and filled exhaust with water and hydrolocked the engine and had to get the truck towed home second day of ownership it was discouraging to say the least. I called and talk to serveral shops and thought I would try first coast and see what they said. I talked to Adam and he helped me not to be so discouraged about my new truck. Tuesday I ordered the full delete kit by friday it was on my door step I did the work in my back yard friday 3hrs part of saturday and a couple hours today my truck is running great again I could have been done early saturday had I not decided to spot clean everything I took off and the top of the engine but i figured might as well. The install was easy the parts fit great and look nice I have been around alot of metal working in my short 23 years but the welds were the block off is done and the coolant lines hook up are top notch you want have to worry about pin holes or anything leaking I wouldnt be afraid to say X-ray quality.

The customer service was freakin awesome Adam answered every question I had if he couldnt he would make a call and within a few minutes had me going back to work. They did everything to help me next to installing it them selves that they could over the phone. Always nice and courteous I never had trouble getting in touch with Adam either the one time I called and he didnt answer he called me back shortyl after.

First coast diesel gets an A+ in my book not many companys like them around anymore.

Thanks first coast diesel I will be sure to recommend yall to everyone I know and when I am ready for the next thing I will be in touch for sure :thumb:

Hey, sorry to hear about your problem with your new truck. My neighbors 04 is pushin 200k and the only issue was with injectors which he just replaced. He never used and fuel additives but he does now. His truck is stock. Did you replace that hypop thing while you had er apart? I've heard that was a bad design on the 04 and should be replaced with the upgraded one. Not sure what i;m talking about cept it is some kind of sensor in the vally that is prone to leaking oil.

Wishing you a long and happy relationshuip with your new truck:icon_ford::thumb:

How do I know if I have an early model ?

I believe its a late model cause I have different glow plugs then the 03 pics I have seen mine are all individual. But that may not make it a late model IDK
