I just received my Edge CTS3 for my 6.7. Impressive unit. It says that I can use a pid called manifold egt reading. Is this reading taken before or after the turbo?

I'd have to see the turbo piping to verify, it was pre-turbo in the previous years (2015+).

I’ve had the CTS 3 for a month or so. 2020 F350. I can’t find the manifold EGT PID in the list. Have you?

Look for EGRT 11....there's an expanded list inside the CTS3 menu options. Try that area for the PID as well.

I’ve looked in the Basic Pids and Advanced Pids and found EGT11 in Advanced (EGT section). The EGR section doesn’t have it either. Is it EGT11?

As above that EGT is in the DPF piping post-turbo. Maybe it's not there for the 2020 trucks just yet. If you haven't already try updating the CTS3.

Edge Support is telling me to restore the default parameters to my CTS 3 then bring up the gauges. I may try that. As a side question, what EGTs should I monitor?

Egt 11 is as close to a manifold temp as you’re going to get without adding a probe. Keep in mind that you’re going to see some ridiculous temps when the truck goes into regen.

If there is an EGRT 11 that will be the best option since it's pre-turbo temps.

It might not be there. I'd just think of running the updates at least once a month.
