I'm looking to get the Edge Insight CTS next pay check to monitor everything. I see they have this expandable EAS system with every probe/sensor known to man. Will the monitor give me the same readings through my OBDII port as the expandable sensors.

You will still get a ton of good info with out expanding. The expandable sensors is for things like a back up camera,egt sensor,turbo timer,oil pressure sensor etc.

I definetly will get EGT. Ill just wait for it to come down instead of pay extra for the turbo timer. I guess what I'm looking for is do you still get ect, eot, and other critical numbers through the obdII. Trying to gauge how much I'm gonna need to spend.

You will get those and much more through the obd11. I had an 05 & got the eas to monitor egt and fuel pressure.

I had the same thought. But I guess my wife got tired if sitting in parking lots as I watched the little screen. She picked me up a timer for Christmas. And I LOVE IT!. Kinda wish I had it sooner.
