I have a early 99 and want to put front leveling kit on. I have researched on here til I went crazy reading all the pros and cons. I found a rough country 2.5 inch lift I like with new leaf springs but does not fit early 99. I am assuming the only difference is the U bolts. Has anyone installed this on a e99 or know of a kit with new leafs for a e99?

No idea about the difference.
But I chimed in to suggest that you go to a local spring shop or two.
They can make you an add a leaf to add to your existing spring pack for less money than a store bought kit.
I've done it both ways and I liked the add a leaf option better.

contact ct performance they might be able to help.

the e99 front ends use different parts than later models.
for example up to 03/99 is considered e99 front end.
my truck has a build date of 01/99 so its early.

my leveling kit is procomp. iill get the part number on lunch

From what I have read, this is only true to an extent. I think the only front end differences are the square vs rounded U-bolts, and the track bar mounting hole is different sized. Correct me if I'm wrong, but both can be corrected pretty easily by drilling out the hole, and you can replace the spring and shock mounting thing with a 1999.5-2004 one so you can use the rounded U-bolts.
