Doing snow plow prep/maintenance research

I'm doing research for an upcoming magazine article on snow plowing truck prep/maintenance. Could use some help from plow prep experts and mechanics on what you've found to be great upgrades, repair tips, and common problems that come with using our pickups for commercial plowing.
