I like that he did it himself, but that distribution Y piece above the intake just looks tacky to me.
Yeah I would have done a distribution block in the valley, put the secondary filter post pump and done the prepump mods but it gives you the idea.
That's where mine is. I like that it was a clean installation.

What are the benefits of this setup over a Riff Raff RFX setup?
More flow, better filtration and some argue a better regulator.

That being said I will probably go with the fxr and prep pump cause the prepump will help with filtration and I won't run injectors or tuning aggressive for it to matter IMHO.
I have no experience with the FRX but after having a RR, I wouldn't want to mess with the FRX. Acceleration is so much smoother and my truck doesn't fall on its face in the 120 race setting on my chip. It has more than enough fuel through the power band. Idle is smoother and it sounds a bit quieter, although quietness doesn't matter to me, it's a diesel... Along with the RR, I did the bowl delete. No more paying for stock fuel filters that are overpriced!!!

Is this what you mean by Prep pump?

I am not planing to get to aggressive with tuning either but if I could put together a DIY full RR for what I would have into the frx and Pre pump I may go that way.

Here is easy diagram for regulated return. The filter bases and pump is pretty self explanatory. If you have any questions, just let me know.

That does help thanks:)

I meant to say pre-pump, not prep pump. Sorry that is what happens when you have fat Irish fingers and try to type on a friggin ipad. My apologies for any confusion.

The pre-pump mods (hutch, harpoon and prepump filter (I am thinking I will use a Baldwin FB1311 base with a BF1212 filter)) and the fxr will easily take care of the fueling demands I will put on my truck. If I can find a steal of a deal on an external regulator then that a horse of a different color but for about $200 bucks (DIY pre-pump and fxr) I can't even get a good regulator and fittings for a complete DIY fuel system.
I've spent about a grand on my fuel system...

That seems about right. Mind me asking, do you have their post-pump filter kit too or are you just running the BF1212 (or cross reference)?

With a little looking I can see how $1000 is not hard to get to, there is a local Racing/hot rod swap meet coming up in my area I have seen fittings, regs and other parts there in the past so I may check that out before I decide.

I have their pre pump kit, post pump kit, RR and bowl delete and high flow banjos.

Ok, just curious does their RR kit use the stock fuel return line or?

Yes, return line is stock, no need for a bigger return line. The feed line is 3/8 if I remember correctly.
