Now that we are up and running I figured we would need a chat thread. This is for basically anything from saying "Good Day" or to posting Chapter ideas and info.

I see its a King Ranch too from your info......very nice.
How come you don't like Goodyear maddawg? Ive never had any experience with them other than the HMMWVs the military uses.
I have awhile left on the Terra Grapplers and they have been great tires. Ive got about 37k on them I think and they have worn extremely evenly just keeping them at full pressure and occasionally rotating. Lots and lots of road trips and light 5k ish towing. Great in the rain and even the great Alabama snow storm of 2014 hahaha

Hahaha! The great snow storm! That was nuts! We had to put poles up under my neighbots shop to support the roof. Both our herds had ice forming on them......

We never have had good luck from goodyears.... heck we had a cheap set of mastercraft that did better than some goodyears we've had in the past. They just wore rough and rode rough.

Ive not had good luck from BFGs either.... ive had about $5500 worth of body work done to my truck because of them blowing out on me....

I really would like to get some Terragrapplers. I like the Firestone Destination ATs too....

I hope next month to get a new set... I just have to nurse my daytons along till then. (Which means no burn outs at walmart showing off to girls in the parking lot any more.... lol)

Hahaha that was a lot of fun and nobody knows how to drive in the snow / ice. I just put er in 4hi and eased on down the road at 1000rpm. Wheels start slippin.....let off the throttle.
I like the Firestones too the Transforce seems to be a great tire.
If i go up to the 18in wheels i could get the terra again but if i stay at my 16s then I dunno because I kinda want taller and skinnier tires and the terra doesnt come in the size I would want.

Hopefully it does it again this yr I enjoyed it a lot. Do you like the frx? I have one in my closet that i need to install. I love the hpx

I almost got stuck going up a hill during that, then I just put her in 4hi gunned it and came on up. I was in BHAM so you know from the news the idiots we had. I carried two women home who thought it would be a great idea to go get groceries in it......A caddy just isnt made for the snow I told em. Id like to have that again this year....that was FUN....and I got muh new tires!

Nice truck!

I DO NOT want that again! WAY toocold....

I honestly can't say if I like it or not. I did so many other modifications at the same time I really wouldn't know if it made a difference or not. I have noticed that it doesn't cackle as much but beyond that I don't know.

Im running 315 70 16s on old purple and Mickey Thompson MTZ 37s on 17 inch MT rims on ******, I been having issues with the big mickey Ts not wanting to stay balanced and cupping pretty bad, seem to wear very fast too and retail at around $2,400 for a set but I got mine wholesale for like $1,800. I forgot the brand on purple but they were like $1,200 and were great and quiet for the first 10K but when I rotated them they got loud and kinda vibrate some. Best tires I ever had on purple were walmart liberators, them things lasted 60K miles with my lead foot driving, but they quit making them any bigger than like 285.

I was wanting to get the leather seats redone in ****** and called around for pricing and its like $2Gs or higher for new seat covers!
I wish ****** had the center fold down front seat like old purple has, I like it much better than the buckets and deep console.

No.... its mowing grass and working on my truck for me....

Noticed a bad pitch and roll to my truck last night... come to find out the sway bar bracket, where it bolts to the frame, has dropped the two bolts! So its just hanging from the cross member and flapping in the breeze! could have been disastrous
