how does a new diesel technician out of tech school get to work on powerstrokes? is there a ford apprenticeship program or something?
Stroke tech is right on. Nice thing about programs such as ford fact is you get sponsored by a dealership and work on stuff as you are in school. Mostly leading to a carrer with that dealer. The best way is to go to the ASSET or FACT program. Those are both Ford programs. Its getting hard to find a dealer to hire someone without already having Ford Creds but they are out there. I took the FACT program. But with you already having a Diesel education start dropping off resumes.
but isnt the FACT program offered at UTI as an elective? and you are telling me that you really did get 62 credits and an associates??? that would be kick *** because i want actual credits not UTI only credits lolStroke tech is right on. I went to the general motors ASAP program. Great school and real tech as teachers. Unlike UTI, AAI ECT you are going to have a job when you graduate. When I graduated I had 62 credits and an associates in applied science.
