Ok I've owned my 06 diesel for about a year now. Head studs done. Bullet proof EGR done. Bullet proof FICM done. Oil cooler replaced. Is there any other preventative steps left to make this truck " Bullet proof " ???? :eek:hnoes:
Getting a little tired of hemorrhaging money.

There are a LOT of good things about the early 6.0's (contrary to many people's posts)!

That being said, once you fix the HPO weaknesses on the later models, they are very solid!

Truck has towed well and been fairly solid. Studs were done by PO. I did the EGR and the rest of the stuff. I tow to race tracks pretty far away and need a dependable vehicle. Hasn't left me stranded yet but I have been proactive due to this forum. Don't post a lot but read a ton.
