300$ at the dealership, or i could do it myself...what does this entail? Drain coolant and disconnect all hoses? Where is my best bet to pick up a new degas?

$300 for plastic bottle.

Drain coolant, disconnect (3) hoses, and 2 screws and it's out.

Might as well edit this one. Getting a replacement for 130$ gonna tackle it myself later. I really don't want to have to replace that s$&@!y ford gold coolant but I probably shouldn't try to reuse it right?

Ok, all done. $130 for the part, which I have found you can get for cheaper some places online...

Coolant came out very nice, clear, no signs of any trouble to come. Heres a pic of where the degas was fractured, just goes to show the amount of pressure this system can build up!
